Monitoring in Ambattur
A logger in Ambattur, Chennai, is most often placed at electronics and pharmaceutical sites. Ambattur is a large industrial estate on the north-western side of Chennai, with engineering shops, electronics assemblers, plastics and packaging firms and a long list of small suppliers that work for the bigger plants further out. Plots are compact and many buildings have been extended upward, so a store is usually a room on a floor above production or a corner of a shed. The humid coastal air reaches every room, and tools, cables and cartons all pick it up, which makes humidity as much a matter of record here as the temperature itself.
Estates and districts
Where We Work in Ambattur
Estate blocks and streets
Streets of compact plots with workshops, small assemblers and packaging firms, where each unit keeps its own store beside the shop floor.
Engineering and tool shops
Machine shops hold finished parts, gauges and consumables in cabinets and rooms where humid air meets bare metal.
Electronics and packaging suppliers
Small firms that make assemblies, cable harnesses and cartons for larger plants keep stock in rooms with limits set by their buyers.
Industries
Industries We Support in Ambattur
Electronics Manufacturing
Assemblers and harness makers keep components in cupboards and rooms where damp air from the coast settles, and a humidity trend shows which cupboard needs a dehumidifier.
Pharmaceutical
Packaging suppliers to medicine makers hold printed cartons and labels in rooms with stated limits, and an exported log answers a buyer's quality visit.
Logistics & Warehousing
Small godowns hold parts for several workshops and take loads through the day, and a dated reading by bay shows which shelf sat in the warmest air.
Food & Beverage
Small food packers and ingredient suppliers in the estate keep chilled and dry stock on one floor, so one view of both rooms helps a small team without a store keeper.
Services
Temperature Data Logger Services in Ambattur
For Ambattur we supply compact WiFi loggers with humidity sensing for small rooms, multi-channel units where one floor holds several stores and GSM versions for sheds with no network. VEGA Calibrations, our parent company, calibrates loggers and other instruments and can map larger rooms, so the equipment and its paperwork can be planned together.
Visits
How Visits Are Arranged
Send the street or block, the unit and the person who will meet us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp or a call, and we agree a day with you. Lanes are busy at shift changes, so we fix an arrival time to suit your shift and group Ambattur with other north-western stops. Please mention stairs and any rules for visitors on the shop floor.
Where we would start
In an Ambattur unit we would start with the store that holds the most moisture-sensitive stock, placing a humidity-reading logger away from the door and the compressor. A few weeks that include a wet spell show how far the room moves, and that decides whether other cupboards need a device of their own.
