Monitoring in Mayapuri
Mayapuri is an industrial area in west Delhi, laid out in two phases beside Naraina, Hari Nagar and Raja Garden, and known across the city for engineering workshops, machinery dealers, vehicle spares and metal trading. Much of the work is mechanical, with lathes, welding and fabrication, and a good part of the stock is steel, tools and parts that rust. Units are small, plots are shared and goods are kept in whatever space is nearest. Monitoring here is less about cold rooms than about heat, damp and the electrical rooms that keep the workshops running. A Mayapuri workshop rarely has a spare room or a stores clerk, so a small device is more practical than a large system.
Estates and districts
Where We Work in Mayapuri
Phase I and Phase II blocks
Two phases of closely packed plots where workshops, fabrication shops and small factories sit side by side, each holding tools, parts and raw metal in a corner of the shop floor.
Machinery and spares dealers
Dealers in machinery and vehicle spares keep parts in covered godowns and shop fronts, where steel surfaces collect moisture after a monsoon night.
Electrical and panel rooms
Workshops with heavy motors and welding sets run panels and meters in small rooms that overheat in summer when ventilation is poor.
Lanes towards Hari Nagar and Raja Garden
Commercial lanes beside the estate, where traders and small packers rent rooms in older buildings to hold stock before it is sent on.
Industries
Industries We Support in Mayapuri
Electronics Manufacturing
Electrical repair shops and panel builders hold relays, meters, boards and cable in cabinets that turn damp in the monsoon, and a humidity log shows when to dry a cupboard before parts corrode.
Chemical
Paint, lubricant, coolant and solvent stores sit near welding and sparks, and a temperature record with an alert on heat gives the owner a warning before cans bulge or labels fail.
Logistics & Warehousing
Traders who send spares and tools to buyers elsewhere hold stock in godowns under sheet roofs, and a reading under the roof and at the floor shows where damp collects and where afternoon heat peaks.
Services
Temperature Data Logger Services in Mayapuri
For Mayapuri we supply compact WiFi loggers for single rooms and workshops, multi-channel units where a godown has several heights to watch, and GSM loggers with external probes for a back room with no signal. Calibration of loggers is delivered by VEGA Calibrations, our parent company, so equipment and certificates can be planned together.
Visits
How Visits Are Arranged
To arrange a visit to Mayapuri, send the phase, the lane or plot and the person who will meet us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp or a call. The lanes are busy with loaded vehicles through the day, so we agree an arrival time with you and group the stop with other west Delhi visits. Please tell us about stairs and working hours at the premises.
Where we would start
In a Mayapuri workshop we would begin with the room that holds the most valuable stock, usually the parts store or the electrical panel room, and fix a logger away from welding and the roof sheet. A few weeks of readings show when the afternoon peak arrives and whether damp builds up after a rainy night, and that tells you whether a second room needs its own device.
FAQ
Mayapuri FAQs
With a temperature data logger in Mayapuri, does humidity matter in a workshop that works with metal?
Yes. Damp air makes steel tools, bearings and spares rust and makes panels and boards fail, so a logger that reads humidity as well as temperature shows when a cupboard or godown needs drying, and the log helps when a buyer questions the condition of stock. See how a Prithvi temperature data logger works.
Can we start with a single device in a small shop?
Yes. One WiFi logger in the most exposed room, with alerts to the owner's phone, is a sensible first step, and more points can be added as the business is ready.
