Monitoring in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area
Sheikh Othman is a large district on the plain to the north-west of Aden's older centre, with markets, clinics and neighbourhoods of small shops, and an industrial area of workshops, small plants and warehouses lies within it. Work of this kind generally includes food and drink preparation, packaging, light engineering and the stores that serve them, in buildings with metal roofs that hold the heat of the day. A temperature data logger in a district like this watches the ingredient and product stores of food makers, the chemical and consumables rooms of workshops, and the warehouses where goods wait for a customer. The page describes only the kinds of rooms and stock a logger user might look after in such a district. Whether a particular store in Sheikh Othman can be supported is decided case by case after we hear from you.

Where We Work in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area
Food and drink preparation rooms and stores
Small producers keep ingredients and finished goods in chilled and dry rooms, where condensation forms on cold surfaces every time a door opens to the humid air.
Workshops and consumables stores
Workshops keep paints, oils, coatings and spare parts in sheds and containers that heat up in the summer sun, and stores of this kind depend on ventilation.
Packaging and light-industry units
Units that pack or make goods hold materials and finished product in halls under metal roofs, with limited cooling and uncertain power.
Warehouses on the district's main roads
Warehouses and depots beside the main roads hold goods for shops and customers across the city, in bays whose doors face the sun.
Industries
Industries We Support in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area
Food & Beverage
Makers of food and drink hold ingredients and finished goods that spoil in coastal heat, and a continuous record shows a customer how each batch was held until it was collected.
Chemical
Workshops and small plants that use paints, resins and oils keep stock with limits printed on the label, and an alert from a hot or damp store lets the storekeeper act in time.
Logistics & Warehousing
Depots that store goods for shops and customers need to show how a lot was held, and a reading for each bay lets an operator export a report for the right customer.
Services
Temperature Data Logger Services in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area
For a site in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area we would look at WiFi loggers for rooms that have a router, multi-point units for long sheds where the roof end is hotter than the floor, and single-point loggers with external probes for cold rooms and freezers. Our parent company, VEGA Calibrations, can talk through calibration of the loggers if it is needed. WiFi loggers need a router in range and a steady power supply for the router. No claim is made about supply or installation until a request has been reviewed.
GSM versions are available. Contact us to confirm network compatibility for your country.
Visits
How Visits Are Arranged
Visits, shipping and installation are not promised. Send the business, the rooms to be watched and a contact through the enquiry form or WhatsApp, and we review the request and tell you what is practical, including whether a call or video session could be arranged to talk through set-up.
Where we would start
If a request went ahead, at a food maker we would begin with the main chilled room, with a logger at the door and one at the back, and add a humidity-reading unit where fog or sweat shows. In a workshop store one logger near the roof would show how hot the upper shelves run.
FAQ
Sheikh Othman Industrial Area FAQs
With a temperature data logger in Sheikh Othman Industrial Area, can a small food maker in Sheikh Othman use a single logger?
Yes. One logger with an alert to a phone is enough for a single chilled room, provided the room has a router within reach, and more points can be added to the same account later. See how a Prithvi temperature data logger works.
Why does a store need a battery in a district with uncertain power?
A logger with a battery keeps recording through an interruption and stores the readings, so there is a record of how the room behaved while the supply was off.
